The Stanley County Buffalos lost against the Winner Warriors back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Stanley County took a serious blow against Winner, falling 56-26. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Stanley County in their matchups with Winner: they've now lost six in a row.
Winner was led to victory by Ryder Halligan and Shawn Hammerbeck. Halligan scored 15 points along with five assists, while Hammerbeck scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Carter Craven was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Stanley County bumped their record down to 1-1 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Winner, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stanley County will take on Philip at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Winner will be home for the holidays to greet Sully Buttes at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
