St. Pius X Catholic had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They never let the Northview Titans get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Golden Lions, who have now won 16 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

St. Pius X Catholic's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 29-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Northview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-16.
