There's no place like home for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Swett Warriors with a sharp 11-1 win on Thursday. Considering the Bruins have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent let Bo Smith and Terry Finn run wild. Smith went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple, while Finn went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave Finn a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Eyheralde, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Swett, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-5-2.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Swett, they will challenge Summerfield Waldorf at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
