The More Knights will venture away from home to take on the Terra Nova Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. More knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Terra Nova likes a good challenge.
More came out on top against Summit Shasta on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run second inning. The Knights blew past the Black Bears 10-3. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Black Bears: they've now won five in a row.

Vinny Selway made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over 4.2 innings pitched. Selway was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for More: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 6-10 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sean Selway, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Gabe Detar, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Terra Nova suffered their biggest loss since April 17, 2025 on Saturday. They lost 10-4 to Head-Royce. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this matchup were averaging 3.55 runs allowed.
Terra Nova saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Spencer Speidel, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Brody Finale was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
Terra Nova's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9. As for More, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
More might still be hurting after the 10-3 loss they got from Terra Nova when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
