Kimball extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Emma Coronado. The Jaguars blew past the Chavez Titans 72-24 on Monday thanks in part to Coronado, who shot 64% from the field on her way to 40 points in addition to eight steals and three blocks. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Kimball's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Matalie Floyd, who dropped a double-double with ten rebounds and 18 blocks. Floyd is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Kimball's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Chavez, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kimball won't have much time to rest: their next game is against California at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars will be up against the Grizzlies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.71 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Chavez, they will take on Waterford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
