Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Schalmont beat Scotia-Glenville 50-45.
Meanwhile, winning is just a little bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 19 to 8 on the offensive boards, a fact Vernon-Verona-Sherrill proved on Friday. They walked away with a 51-41 victory over Cortland. The win made it back-to-back wins for Vernon-Verona-Sherrill.
Eliijah Donegan had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 40 points and 17 rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. Degaragen Paradis was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Schalmont's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Vernon-Verona-Sherrill, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
