Hunter Huffstatler was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. He also put up a home run, which was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, West Union came up short against Marshall Academy on Friday, falling 7-1.
East Union pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for West Union, they now have a losing record of 11-12.
Saturday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. East Union has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .477. However, it's not like West Union struggles in that department as they've averaged .439. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
