The Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Cary Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wake Christian Academy has given up an average of 30.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Wake Christian Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Carolina's top teams: Pungo Christian Academy, who was ranked sixth at the time (Wake Christian Academy was ranked 11th). The Bulldogs took a 34-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losing side was boosted by Brady Stiltner, who threw for 133 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 57 yards.

Even if they lost, Wake Christian Academy's defensive line still kept up the pressure with six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Daniel Setikas and Anderson Seay, who racked up four sacks between them. Setikas has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last four times he's played.
Meanwhile, Cary Christian blew past St. David's, posting a 54-19 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 22 points or more this season.
Wake Christian Academy better keep an eye on Reed Harvey. He was instrumental in Cary Christian's win, throwing for 290 yards and four TDs while completing 91.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 68 yards and one score on only five carries. That's the most passing yards Harvey has posted since back in October of 2024. Cennoth Kalisiak was in the mix as well, providing Cary Christian with three touchdowns.
Cary Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Michael Allen, Marcus Reinalda, and Andrew Smyrski picked up one apiece.
Wake Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Cary Christian, their record is now 9-1.
Wake Christian Academy was taken down by Cary Christian 52-6 in their previous matchup back in September. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Harvey, who threw for 250 yards and five TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 65 yards on only six carries.
