Tomales has gone a perfect 3-0 against Victory Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Braves will venture away from home to take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Tomales is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Sonoma Academy just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 8-3 to the Coyotes.

Tomales saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jorge Lopez, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Lopez is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Victory Christian Academy might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was Point Arena who claimed the real prize. The Eagles fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 5-4. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost four in a row.
Brett Hernandez was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Hernandez was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run.
In other batting news, Eddie Lindstrom was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was JT Russell, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Tomales' record now sits at 8-8. As for Victory Christian Academy, their record is now 4-8.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Tomales has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Victory Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Tomales skirted past Victory Christian Academy 6-4 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
