After flying high against Stone Mountain last Wednesday, Stephenson came back down to earth. The Jaguars took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Luella Lions on Friday. The Jaguars' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Stephenson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Romando Craddock, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Stephenson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Luella, they pushed their record up to 13-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stephenson will venture away from home to challenge Lithonia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Luella, they will head out to take on Jones County at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Greyhounds have averaged an impressive 9.9 runs per game this season.
