The losing side was boosted by Lily Crum, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that she pulled down eight or more rebounds. Ava Savage was another key contributor, scoring two points along with 19 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Halifax were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Millersburg has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 26 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 66-40 margin over Hanover.
Halifax bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.5 points per game. As for Millersburg, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
Halifax was taken down by Millersburg 54-13 when the teams last played back in January. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Halifax was down 37-4.
