Howe came into Monday's contest looking for another win against Boyd, but Lex Horton wouldn't allow it. The Yellowjackets blew past the Bulldogs 80-39 on Monday for which the team can thank Horton, who posted 24 points. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

Boyd now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Howe, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Boyd has already played their next matchup, an 84-67 victory against Bowie on the 25th. As for Howe, they will head out to challenge Calvary Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 2. The Bulldogs will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
