Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Baldwin Park). They were the clear victors by a 23-5 margin over Pioneer on Monday. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Baldwin Park let Isaiah Felix and Thomas Beltran run wild. Felix went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Beltran went 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Felix a new career-high. Julian Huerta was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Baldwin Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive games.
Baldwin Park now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Garey, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1.
