Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Lompoc sidestepped Morro Bay for a 7-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.
Righetti's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8. As for Lompoc, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.
Everything went Righetti's way against Lompoc in their previous meeting back in March, as Righetti made off with a 16-3 win.
