Sams Posts Huge Game in 28-21 Defeat
Starting off the list is Jacksboro's Luke Sams, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Sams rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 82 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 65 yards.
On the season, Sams has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 37.2 receiving yards per game.

Carson Rojas's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his third-straight game with 106+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.
Valley View is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. Rojas and Valley View will head out to square off against Holliday at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

While Millsap might've come up empty on Friday, Nixon Delaune wasn't going down without a fight. Delaune turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up a sack, making four total tackles, and defending a pass. The second Holliday player making an appearance here is Hunter Jones, and for good reason. He threw for 283 yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score.
