Farmersville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 31 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 68-33 victory over Exeter on the road. Farmersville's victory was all the more impressive since Exeter was averaging only 28 points allowed on the season.
Janessa Garza and Jazmaine Stewart were among the main playmakers for Farmersville as the former dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds and the latter dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 steals. The match was Stewart's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Haylie Tassey was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Central Valley Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Mt. Whitney on Saturday, taking the game 34-27.
Farmersville's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Central Valley Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Farmersville, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 52-36 loss to Central Valley Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2019.
