The Loara Saxons will take on the Adelanto Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Loara is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 12 games.
Loara extended their postseason success on Saturday against Duarte. They took down the Falcons 52-35.
Loara's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Angela Ngo, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds, and Sophia Rangel, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Rangel has scored at least a third of Loara's points. Laila Walker was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Adelanto entered their tilt with Sacred Heart of Jesus with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Adelanto blew past Sacred Heart of Jesus 58-36. Adelanto pushed the score to 54-29 by the end of the third, a deficit Sacred Heart of Jesus cut but never quite recovered from.
Loara has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Adelanto, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.
