After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dover, the York County Tech Spartans were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They walked away with a 39-28 win over St. James.
York County Tech's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Le'Icessess Harrison, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Harrison has scored at least 25% of York County Tech's points. Another player making a difference was Marissa Parker, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds.
The win got York County Tech back to even at 1-1. As for St. James, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. York County Tech will take on Lancaster Mennonite at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. James, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hedgesville at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Hedgesville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
