Willow Glen won the last time they faced Evergreen Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. Willow Glen was the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Evergreen Valley. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Willow Glen got a great performance from Dante Pini as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Furthermore, Pini didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Austin Korba was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Pan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Willow Glen's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Evergreen Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

Lincoln's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Evergreen Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
