Even though Santa Fe and California only combined for only zero shots on goal  on Thursday, they still managed to score six goals in total. Santa Fe took a  4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of California. Santa Fe was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as California apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  on January 9th.
  Emily Rodriguez and 
 Isabel Moreno did their best for Santa Fe and scored both of Santa Fe's goals.  The pair have combined for a total of two so far this season.
 Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for California, their win  ended a three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 11-9-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santa Fe will take on La Serna at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. La Serna will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for California, they will look to defend their home pitch  on Saturday against Whittier at 3:30  p.m. Whittier is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a seven-game streak of away losses.
