Baseball Recap: Columbus Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Columbus, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let the Carver Tigers get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won nine in a row.

Columbus got a massive performance out of Caden Bryans, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most stolen bases Bryans has posted since back in April of 2024. Jamari Blackmon was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Columbus hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
