Chattahoochee extended their losing streak  (dating back to last season) to 12  on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-10. They lost  21-4 to the Lanier Longhorns. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Longhorns apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
As for Lanier, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 6-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the  game before.
For Lanier's part,  Lindsay Sisk made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Sisk has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with four  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. Those  four  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sanai Hampton, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with seven  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  seven  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high.  Carol Rubio-Hurtado was another key player,  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances with five  stolen bases and two  runs.
