Baseball Recap: Breckenridge Gets the Win

Breckenridge proved they can win big on Friday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Ithaca Yellowjackets 6-4. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Blaze Snyder was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Noah Barr, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Gavin Corbat was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

Breckenridge's record is now 19-5. As for Ithaca, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-10.

Breckenridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ithaca, they will be playing at home against Carson City-Crystal at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
