Luke Bazemore was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Jacob Dixon was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Lane Watkins was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
