Top recruits from
Serra (Gardena, Calif.) are almost an inextricable piece of the high school football landscape. Each season the small Catholic school located just west of Compton somehow manages to churn out Top 100-caliber prospects with amazing consistency.

Assuming that mantle for the class of 2015 is
defensive tackle
Rasheem Green. The 6-foot-5, 275-pound defensive tackle is causing major headaches for opposing offensive lineman this season.
Green has been responsible for five sacks and 17 tackles for loss so far and has also forced a fumble.

Green is also one of the nation's top uncommitted recruits. He is
No. 14 overall according to the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 3 recruit at the defensive tackle position.
It seems as if Green's college choice could be a foregone conclusion. Twenty-eight picks appear on his
247 Crystal Ball, and every one pegs him to go to USC, joining the ranks of other Serra stars who went on to become Trojans like Robert Woods, Marqise Lee and Adoree Jackson.
However, Green has scheduled an official visit to Oregon next weekend.
The Ducks, and countless other programs, would love to add a tremendous player like Green to their defensive units.
