The Upper Perkiomen Indians's game on Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They really took it to Tulpehocken for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-31 win on the road. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Upper Perkiomen's 20-point performance the game before.
Among those leading the charge was Erin States, who scored 28 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carly Heiser, who scored 11 points.
The victory got Upper Perkiomen back to even at 1-1. As for Tulpehocken, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Upper Perkiomen will be playing at home against Oley Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tulpehocken will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pottsgrove at 6:45 p.m. on December 12th.
