Linfield Christian is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against Arrowhead Christian on Friday. The Lions blew past the Eagles 27-7. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

A big part of Linfield Christian's win came down to the chemistry between Charlie Bohmer and his top target Isaac Moreno. Bohmer threw for 335 yards and four TDs on perfect 20-for-20 passing while Moreno picked up 247 receiving yards and three touchdowns. With that strong performance, Moreno is now averaging an impressive 114.6 receiving yards per game.
Linfield Christian didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Arrowhead Christian to a completion percentage of just 26.3%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from five players: Jason Brenier, Michael Sands, Dane Sloniker, Michael Wiese, and Evander Qualls, who each logged one passes deflected. Linfield Christian hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.5 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Linfield Christian's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Sloniker and Wiese, who racked up 4.5 sacks between them. Wiese also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 12. Madden Mayer was another major factor on D, picking up 0.5 sacks, forcing two fumbles, and making 19 total tackles (6.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Big Bear came up short against Western Christian two weeks ago, falling 40-15.
Linfield Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Big Bear, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Linfield Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Big Bear in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 35-30 win.
