It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Linfield Christian Lions can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valiants on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Linfield Christian couldn't push the score so high this time.

Linfield Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-8-2. As for St. Genevieve, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3-1.
Linfield Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Genevieve, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory vs. Jurupa Valley on the 10th.
