Baseball Recap: Central Georgia Arts Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

Central Georgia Arts hadn't done well against Covenant Academy recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Central Georgia Arts put the hurt on Covenant Academy with a sharp 10-2 win. With that victory, Central Georgia Arts brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Harrison Strange made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Anderson Bloodworth and Maddox Brooks did most of the damage at the plate: Bloodworth went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Brooks went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
