On Saturday, Oak Grove took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 52-25 win over the Golden Eagles.
Meanwhile, Willow Glen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-51 win over the Saints on Thursday.
Willow Glen's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Valerio, who went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Valerio has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessie Okumura, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
Oak Grove now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Willow Glen, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Oak Grove was taken down by the Rams 62-35 in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Willow Glen's Lucia Diaz, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds.
