Last Tuesday, Johnstown Christian got the win against Clearfield Alliance Christian by a conclusive 38-13. With Johnstown Christian ahead 27-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 47-15, which was the final score in Grier's tilt against Blair County Christian on Thursday. Grier was down 33-9 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Johnstown Christian pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Grier, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Johnstown Christian took their victory against Grier when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 46-22. With Johnstown Christian ahead 29-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
