While Rancho Mirage put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Indio. Everything went the Rancho Mirage Rattlers' way against the Indio Rajahs as the Rancho Mirage Rattlers made off with a 6-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Rattlers in their matchups with the Rajahs: they've now won five in a row.

Marcos Ceja Jr. made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only a hit while striking out six over six innings pitched. Ceja Jr. was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. What's more, he also posted three hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kobee Finnikin, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jesus Gutierrez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Rancho Mirage's record now sits at 2-0. As for Indio, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rancho Mirage will host Nuview Bridge at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Indio, they will welcome Citrus Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
