The Spring-Ford Rams stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 59-24 victory over Boyertown on the road. Winning may never get old, but Spring-Ford sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Anna Azzara continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Katie Tiffan was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Despite the defeat, Boyertown had strong showings from Madelyn Weaver, who scored 14 points along with two steals, and Callie Wieber, who scored three points. That was a full 58.3% of Boyertown's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Spring-Ford has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Boyertown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Spring-Ford will look to defend their home court on Sunday against the Crusaders at 3:45 p.m. Lancaster Catholic is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games. As for Boyertown, they will head out on the road to square off against the Titans at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Central Bucks South presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bears in Pennsylvania (the Titans are ranked 133rd, while the Bears are ranked 412th).
