Oakdale won against East Union  last Wednesday with nine  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Friday. The Oakdale Mustangs came out on top against the East Union Lancers by a score of  9-6. The  victory was familiar territory for Oakdale who now have three in a row.

 Like Oakdale, East Union also got a great game from a two-way player:  Jackson Fay. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Fay was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Kirk Simoni was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 1-for-4 with four  RBI and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Blake Mount, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Even though they lost, East Union  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 12  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakdale only tossed seven.
 Oakdale is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record  this season. As for East Union, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 12-7.
 Oakdale will head out on the road to  take on  Kimball at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Kimball has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5  runs per game on average), something Oakdale will no doubt try to take advantage of.
