Vista del Lago's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Skrzyniarz led the charge by scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Skrzyniarz is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last 14 games she's played. Ursula Chen was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Cosumnes Oaks lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caitlin Subejano, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Subejano is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Isabel Tan, who scored five points along with four steals.
Vista del Lago has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Cosumnes Oaks, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-10.
