Skyler Alvarez and Lindsay Cable made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Alvarez didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Meanwhile, Cable pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Alvarez has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. At bat, Alvarez got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs, while Cable went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Cable a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Paige Sanchez, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Anderson, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Bloomingdale hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Bay struck out ten times.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Plant, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on Gaither with a sharp 10-0 win on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Cowboys recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Gigi Cozzens tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Anabel Ramirez was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Kate Compton was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. Bloomingdale hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Plant struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Bloomingdale took their win against Plant when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Bulls repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
