The Bradshaw Christian Pride will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Sheldon Huskies at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bradshaw Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last 19 games dating back to last season.
Bradshaw Christian's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Vista del Lago with a sharp 6-0 win. Fans of the Pride have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Vista del Lago's batters probably weren't too happy with David Wiser, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (he gave up zero walks). Those 13 strikeouts gave Wiser a new career-high.
At the plate, Bradshaw Christian got a big performance out of Max Wolf, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Wolf a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Evan Fujii-Sisler, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Sheldon gave up the first runs last Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They blew past Kennedy 15-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Huskies considering their one-run performance the game before.
Freddy Saldana made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Jaren Azores and Movari Leggett did most of the damage at the plate: Azores scored four runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3, while Leggett scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Moises Castillo was another key player, getting no hits from his three at bats.
Bradshaw Christian pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.5 runs. As for Sheldon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Bradshaw Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Sheldon when the teams last played back in April of 2016, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bradshaw Christian since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
