Pacific Ridge scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 23-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rock Academy Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-5 on Wednesday.

Jonas DeLonge made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Ford Naylor also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Pacific Ridge and nudges their season record down to 6-8. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Rock Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Pacific Ridge will venture away from home to face off against Orange Glen at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rock Academy, they will host Guajome Park Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Frogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.88 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
