The King's Academy Knights had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on Lanier Christian Academy with a sharp 42-21 win on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for The King's Academy.
The King's Academy found their leader in underclassman Jaxon Bone, who rushed for 156 yards and four touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Beavers, who rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
The King's Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Lanier Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
The King's Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Calvary Christian. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Calvary Christian is ranked 423rd, while The King's Academy is ranked 415th).
