The Milton Black Panthers will stay at home for another game and welcome the Danville Ironmen at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Milton fought the good fight in their overtime match against Troy on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 40-37. While losing is never fun, Milton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 361st, while Troy is ranked 162nd).
Meanwhile, Danville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Jersey Shore, falling 60-33. Danville has not had much luck with Jersey Shore recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Milton's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-9. As for Danville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
Milton didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Danville in their previous matchup back in February of 2021, but they still walked away with a 44-39 victory. Will Milton repeat their success, or does Danville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
