The all-time leading rusher in Tennessee, Fleming played fullback at the University of Tennessee, where he gained 342 yards on 84 carries in four seasons. He was an accomplished receiver out of the backfield, catching 73 passes for 492 yards and five scores in his college career. Drafted in the sixth round by the Tennessee Titans, Fleming played two seasons in the NFL, catching 29 passes for 233 yards and gaining 40 yards on seven carries.
