The St. Joseph Knights will square off against the Centennial Golden Hawks at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
St. Joseph is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They walked away with  a   6-3  victory over Buchanan.
St. Joseph got a great performance from  Mason Majewski as he  tossed 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   eight  hits. Majewski has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances.

 At the plate,  Connor Chanley was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI and two  runs. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Erik Furness, who  went 1-for-4 with two  runs and one  double.
 Clovis North typically has all the answers at home, but  on Friday Centennial proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Broncos  7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Golden Hawks have posted  against the Broncos since March 5, 2015.
 St. Joseph's victory was  their seventh straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 24-6. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 25-7.
 St. Joseph came out on top in a nail-biter against Centennial when the teams last played  back in March, sneaking past  1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
