University Pathways Medical Magnet waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They breezed by the Magnolia Science Academy Carson Vipers to the tune of 56-9. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-11 on January 6th.

University Pathways Medical Magnet was led to victory by Natalie Hartfield and Mia Munguia. Hartfield went 15 of 20 on her way to 31 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals, while Munguia dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. Munguia is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Sara Garcia was another key player, putting up two points along with ten boards and three steals.

University Pathways Medical Magnet smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 26 offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

University Pathways Medical Magnet's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Magnolia Science Academy Carson, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
