Mountain Vista got a massive performance out of Lily Oss, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Alexa Reinig, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Mountain Vista kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 6-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
The victory got Mountain Vista back to even at 11-11. As for Douglas County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Douglas County hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. However, it's not like Mountain Vista struggles in that department as they've averaged .343. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
