Softball Recap: Thursday's Win Is North Cobb's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

North Cobb never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Marietta on Thursday. They never let the Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

North Cobb has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Marietta, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-15.

Looking ahead, North Cobb will venture away from home to face off against River Ridge at 1:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Marietta, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Walton at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th.
