The Kingsland Knights will square off against the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep alive their perfect 11-game seasons.
Kingsland had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Spring Grove, posting a 44-14 win on the road. Considering Kingsland has won nine contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Beau Wiersma and Kaaleem Reiland were among the main playmakers for Kingsland as the former gained 133 total yards and three touchdowns and the latter rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Wiersma has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last four times he's played.
Meanwhile, Hills-Beaver Creek put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Friday. They put the hurt on Edgerton with a sharp 30-8 win.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 11-0 season records intact.
