Assumption put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the South Plaquemines Hurricanes by a score of 48-37. While the Mustangs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-31), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Assumption's victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Assumption will venture away from home to square off against West St. Mary at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Plaquemines, they will challenge Eleanor McMain at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
