Cheniyah Jackson was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Justine Nevels, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August. Taylor Swann was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.
Milton's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for South Effingham, their victory bumped their record up to 21-3.
