Lexington is a perfect 5-0 against Tri-Point since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Minutemen will host the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. Tri-Point took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lexington, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Lexington turned things around against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Falcons.

Lexington easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Tri-Point came up short against Gardner-South Wilmington on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Tri-Point ultimately came up short, they really made Gardner-South Wilmington work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-20.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Tri-Point, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Lexington was able to grind out a solid victory over Tri-Point in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Minutemen have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chargers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
