Despite the loss, Summit Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Courtland Reiter dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Miller, who posted two points along with six boards and three blocks.
Summit Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Hampton Roads Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
